Which isp should I choose?
6 Answers
My ISP has been Wanadoo for over a year but they now tell me they're being taken over/merging with Orange.
As I had a bad experience with Orange mobile I don't want to give them my business, so I'd like to find a good ISP. At the moment I rent my phoneline from BT, and make calls via TalkTalk but their ISP deals look quite a bit more expensive than what I'm paying just now.
Does anyone have a recommendation - or can anyone tell me the ones to avoid!!!

I lost connection and they never managed to get me back online. It took 29 telephone calls - most of them to India, we went through the same questions over and over again, they kept telling me to wait another 5-10 working days which turned into three months. I finally wrote to the Chief Executive and reported them to Ofcom - I was quickly compensated! I'm now with BT who seem ok but I would give Wanadoo a very wide berth!
i actually liked wanadoo while i was with them and never had any problems at all for the two years i was connected. i recently moved and went with blueyonder from telewest and i have to say they are rubbish. they do offer a 10 meg service but it seems really unstable goes off randomly. i will be changing from them shortly
