internet explorer keeps closing

for the past week or so I keep getting an error, internet explorer needs to close, no idea why. Then yesterday and today it drops the internet down without even the message coming up.

I've run adaware, virus checks, removed cookies, emptied temporary files, but still shutting me out.

Microsoft was useless. I run xp home and have broadband. I really need some help please.

I had this a lot and found it was caused by my super efficient pop-up blocker.

I'd recommend installing Firefox instead - it's a free download, and it's more efficient, and it can also be less susceptible to some viruses.

Try creating a new profile and seeing if IE works on that.
