real player windows player problem

hi does anyone know why when i download music videos they will not play properly on either of these player the video cuts out plus the song keeps stop/starting

how can i fix this problem

are you trying to watch streaming video files? i.e., not downloading to your computer, watching it over the internet? if so, do you have a fast enough connection to cope?

if not, try using the following two media players:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alter native.htm

both are free; vlc plays just about anything. real alternative plays real files well, without the annoying adverts and popups that come with the standard real player.
