internet wireless security

i found this on the net, as my wireless is unsecured and i just want to secure it, is this what i need to do as not sure when says browse, where do i need to go?
i thought this would be a simple button to press but i guess not the case, any advice would be helpful, as drivin me crazie

How Do I: Install the Intel PROSet Wireless - WLAN Security Client


To install the Windows Security Client for Intel PROSet 2100 Wireless:

Browse to [C:\WINDOWS\motion\iWLan\APPS\MTGHS] and double-tap the MTGH2KXP installer package.
On the [Welcome to the WLAN Security Client Setup Wizard] panel, click [Next].
On the [End User License Agreement] panel, click [Accept] to accept the agreement.
On the [Choose Setup Type] panel, click [Complete].
On the [Ready to Install] panel, click [Install].
On the [WLAN Security Client Warning] panel, ensure that an older version of WLAN Security Client is not installed, and then click [Continue].
On the [Complete the WLAN Security Client Setup Wizard] panel, click [Finish].
When prompted to restart the computer, click [Yes] to restart or [No] to wait and restart at a later time. The installation will not be complete until the computer is restarted.

If you follow the instructions it tells you where to browse to....
c:\windows\motion\iwlan\apps\mtghs then double click on MTGH2KXP

Or am I missing something here?

What make of wireless router are you using?

Assuming you have windows xp:

Click the start button.

Copy C:\WINDOWS\motion\iWLan\APPS\MTGHS

and paste in the Run box. Then follow the instructions above.

If it doesn't work in Run, try pasting in the search box.
