Paint Shop Pro / Irfan

It may seem a stupid question but how do I transfer photos from'My pictures' to Paint Shop Pro or Irfan for manipulation ?

Normally you open the program and select File then Open to open the picture.

DONT manipulate the orignal pictures. Keep them in case anything goes wrong.

You don't need to transfer them. You can either, right-click the picture, choose "Open with", then select the program you wish to open them with, or run the program, click File/Open, browse to your "My Pictures" folder and open them from there.

As VHG says, if you modify them, it's a good idea to choose "Save As" rather than "Save" and either give them a different name, or place them in a different folder. That way you can always revert to the original if you want to make any other changes.
