I downloaded from a bit torrent site a flac file, when burned to cd, would not play, what have i done wrong please?

did you just burn it straight as a data cd?

flac is a lossless audio file. you'll need to use some converter to get it to an audio CD

You can burn it with many programs, such as this one.
