Saved internet images

I know that clearing internet files through the tools menu does not fully clear pictures that have been viewed on the net.

I use windows xp pro. Does anyone know how I can view pictures that have been saved on my pc and then fully delete them?

A sure but laborious way is to search for all pictures on your pc by the file type.

.gif: .bmp: .jpeg and so on.

So Start, search

And see what you find. You will have to search for each type individually, I think, and remember to put the full stop at the start. eg
