To select multiple contiguous records:

Click on the first
Scroll to the last
Hold down shift and at the same time click on the last
Hit Delete, or right-click and choose delete

This method of selecting multiple records is pretty much standard throughout all Windows programs.

To select non-contiguous records:

Click on the first
Whilst holding down control, click on each of the other records you wish to select.
Click on 'SENDER', this should tick all the boxes, and then 'DELETE', they should all be deleted. You should also have a lot of e-mails in the 'TRASH' box. tick empty, and these will delete. Good Luck!
