ntl Netguard blocking outlook express
Hello all :o)
Hoping someone can help me please?
I have Norton but it is now out of date so have downloaded Ntl netguard, I switched the firewall on but it has stopped any incoming e-mails through outlook. I turned that firewall off and turned the windows firewall on and it still won't let any e-mails come though.
Please can anyone help me? I'm not really sure what to do and just want to have a protected computer! Will I have to switch off the NTL netguard everytime I want to check for e-mails? Or do I not need the NTl netguard on all the time anyway as I have the windows firewall on?
I appreciate any help thanx :o)

Hi ZebUK :o)
Thank you for your reply, I've had a look as you've suggested and fiddled around and it's still doing it, but I've found that the windows firewall is switched off when the computer is first switched on! There are no other firewalls on tho! Also when I switch the NTL firewall on it switches off MSN! Am I doing something majorly wrong here?
I found Norton worked just fine but I refuse to pay the 50+ (I think it was) for another years subscription.
Thanx again Zeb (You were up early!) :o)
