Incoming mail (POP3): pop.wanadoo.co.uk
Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.wanadoo.co.uk
If it was freeserve when you first joined then it could be respectively -
pop.freeserve.com
smtp.freeserve.com
The email address you enter should match one or the other. Hope this helps, but no guarantee!

Take a look at the support section over at orange.co.uk, look for "how to use the Microsoft connection wizard to set up Outlook Express Article ID: kb226" or try this link http://snipurl.com/19vue

well have tried both your sugestions thankyou, but still having problems ,pulling my hair out now as been trying over an hour and looked like it was going through ok but then tried to send e mail to try it out and kept getting error not recognize smtp yet put it as wanadoo and tried freeserve after that, hard to explain other thing as a box kept coming up with username and password and id click ok but it went off then just kept coming back up with nothing happening and now im frustrated with it all ahhhh !
I don't know what else to suggest except to sign up for a new account with Orange (if you want to stay with them).
Go to http://www.orange.co.uk/ and follow the tab 'Email and Communicate'. Don't be put off by the boxes asking you to sign in with password etc. If you search around there are links to sign up for a new account.
Orange puts a lot of spam into a junk mail folder for me (which I can see if I want to) and anything left in the webmail Inbox downloads to Outlook Express.

Have you managed to get the problem sorted yet?
Outlook Express is an email client, not an email itself, and so it needs all the details of the email account so it can access and download them for you.
I trust you have an email account set up with them... this will have to be done from the Orange home page. If you want "[email protected]" for example, you need to create it with Orange, then set it up in Outlook Express. If you haven't set it up, Outlook Express can't access it...
Good luck!
