Wireless Laptop connecting to Router

I have a netgear router which I have a few computers connected to. I have recently purchased a wifi laptop and have connected this to the router. Security is enabled and I have to type in a SSID code into the properties section of the wifi connection.

the trouble is that the connection keeps dropping after about 20 mins. I can reconnect and it works again, but it is really frustrating.

Any idea as to why it is dropping
