microsoft outlook problem help please

when i send a message to a lot of contacts in my address book it keeps giving me a !your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients! and a code !452 too many recipients!. It is only the last few weeks this has happened, is there any settings that I can alter to combat this problem, thankyou.

Although it refers to problems with a product called Ecotect, the problem arises with many products, and the fix is universal.

Oops posted answer to a different question!

The answer to yours is that probably your ISP has put a limit on the number of recipients a single e-mail can be sent to as part of the war on SPAM and mass mailers. If so, the only solution is to split the list into to or more parts , and send a separate e-mail to each of the parts.
