As a Regular on the site from Day One, I can confirm that there have been many interesting Questions, Answers, and Debates. It's really a matter of personal opinion as to what is actually 'interesting' but the recent 'homophobia' debate was well received and fascinating, I'd probably nomiate that is one of my faves. My colleagues will doubtless step forward, we adore being asked for our opinions - about anything!
"where do i find burdall's gravy block" - loads of people asked this a while back and the AB regulars didn't know why (we eventually deduced it was an ingredient in a diabetics cookbook)
Amazing reading through that link was how some names come and go....Mintox posted on that one who used to be a regular on the site.....anyways my topic for best answers would be the thread about Northern Ireland that was one of the first weighty questions I joined in on a few years ago now......anything apart from mundane dross about adverts and the like is good though.
the first i ever did was one about how far away a ship would have to be before it fell below the horizon. the poster wouldnt accept that you had to do some maths because it depended on how tall you were and how tall the ship was....
Haha first time i've looked on this site in ages and mine was the example - thats great. And sft42 called me a regular - well i never concided myself as a regular (all the arguments about newbies etc etc from ages ago) :D but im suppose im now in the 'club'. Self Five!
