Photos on the web
I have just become a Grandad and want to put some pics on the web so my friends and family can view them. What is the best site to use ? I believe that Flickr is soon to be closed - any advice ?
Many thanks in advance

The most popular site in the world is Webshots:

I've got friends and family members who're happy with Snapfish:

However, nothing can beat Atpic:

Flickr isn't closing.
In my opinion, it's the best out there. It's free to use, with some limits on how much you can upload (only 200 photos per month, or something like that), and the paid account is only 12/year.
My advice would be to upload all your photos to it, and keep it as a backup. You can make photos private too so only you have access to them.

Picasa also lets you set up on onlline photo album and then give selected people access.
Also good for making CDs of photosto send to the lucky parents. (You can also buy clamshell CD boxes online which enable the cd to be sent at normal postage rate.)
Another Grandad - (12 and 14 months) - it's wonderful.
Just had to buy 500gb harddrive to save all photos and videos!
