I am considering getting free broadband from talktalk , I have only heard bad things about it in the past .Has anyone signed up recently? Is the service better? How long does it take to get up & running?

Not personally but my mate did and everything was smooth and set up was easy.

When it first started, there was just a huge number of subscribers and they were just crap at handling the service with so many people.

Hi bimbim,
I signed up to talktalk over a year ago, and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I think it took a few weeks for everything to swap and in fact happened quicker than the date they'd given me. So I've been really happy with their service. Hope this helps.

had talktalk for years the customer service is rubbish and wouldnt touch them with a bargepole, now with bt
