Forgive my ignorance, but I am really wondering if there is a technology, machine, device, whatever out there that would allow me to create a wifi free area around my house. Sounds stupid I know, but let me explain. My daughter has been getting herself into some trouble on the internet. She has a laptop computer and is "scanning" for unsecured connections around my neighborhood. I can not just take away her computer because she bought it and is making payment from her own money. I want to create an area around my property that is wifi free if that is possible. If you have an idea what I need, and can help me out, please email me at [email protected] Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for that advice, tried that already, I cant get into her computer, it is locked down tight with passwords when she leaves it alone for even a few minutes :(
Tell her you will report her to the police - as you don't want to be held liable.

Cover your house in tin foil, that should do it.
