In the last few months whenever I try and call up a web page and the line is busy for more than a few seconds my computer diverts me to a site called Internet Optimizer , which is basically a page with lots of different company websites on it, a bit like a serch engine. It has the message 'Sorry we could not find site www.blahblah.. Why not try one of these sites instead. Its really frustrating and if I'm online after 8pm the message changes to ' Youy seem to want Adult entertainment' and the suggested websites turn to Adult sites with some really inapproprate images. I don't know where this came from but there must be something on my PC thats taking me to Internet Optimizer yet I can't see any file on my PC thats I can delete. Can anyone help?

You've been 'hijacked'. Go to Merijn.org and download Hijack This - http://209.133.47.12/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

If you don't already use them I'd suggest you also get Lavasoft's excellent (and free) Ad-aware http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?pa
