Writing an email in HTML
6 Answers
Hi
I want to be able to write an email in HTML i.e.
< b > this would be bold < \ b >
Which I can then send so that the person receiving it automatically recieves the email in HTML. Like the emails that you get from Amazon etc.
I've changed mail format on my emails to HTML but it still doesn't pick up the HTML tags, i.e. it prints the above verbatim rather than just this would be bold
Can anyone help?
I'm using Outlook.
Thanks

Many people, and companies, set the optinon to view e-mails as plain text because it is easy to hide viruses and other nasties inside a HTML based e-mail.

I think what you are after is not really just the HTML option in Outlook but a proper HTML email with images etc in the correct place and format?
To do this we use software called Mailings. This is on Mac and very easy to use but they may do a version for PC as well. There is other similar software out there which will do the same thing. Some are free or shareware, others make a charge.
