Web Cam Problem

I am running a basic webcam through yahoo messanger. It loses the connection every couple of minutes, have to unplug and plug back in? Is very frustrating!! I have a broadband connection, and have got rid of as much rubbish as possible from my PC's memory thinking that might be the problem. The connection stays if I don't type messages! Anyone have any suggestions?

Wish I did - I've never had this problem with Yahoo! Messenger and I have broadband too - Sorry! Have you looked at Yahoo!'s webcam help thing? I don't think it's the webcam. It's probably the software. Try re-installing Messenger, that might do the trick!
