Right ive got a netgear router and a mac, i've follwed all the instructions but can't connect.

I was told to check my TCP/IP configuration and select 'using DHCP' connection. But when i use this the IP address does not match the requirements of the router. How do I get the right IP address using DHCP?

Thanking you x

firstly I'd recommend resetting the router and starting again.

Are you connecting wirelessly or by cable? Cable is better for setting it up.

On the router pages (192.168. Stuff) will be a section for network settings. Make sure this is set to use dhcp
