finding the owner of a mobile phone!

Can anyone please tell me how to find out who a mobile phone belongs to, just using the phone number other than phoning them??? very stuck please help!!!!!

Ring one of the contacts on the phone - is there nothing for "home" or "dad" or something?

Thank you everyone, I dont have the phone - ive found a text on my husbands phone that isn't what it seems to be, and ive tried to phone the number to see who it is but no-ones annswering. Hubby away so hes no help. thanks anyway.

really hope you get to the bottom of this, as i was in the same position myself not to long a go, its not nice, if he is on a contract then get the password/login details of his online bill/account and check how many times this number appears and at what time...I really do sympathize with you as its not a nice position to be in.
