Click on the picture - options - forward - To - then the list of ways to send it will include email address. This can be entered and you will find the @ in your symbols.

On your phone if you go to messages and choose MMS as opposed to SMS(text) you should be able to send to email addresses.
I believe that to be right, but am up for correction.
