how to set up belkin router i know how to do it but my connections seem wrong on virgin media ive put in the blue lead from modem to router but then it says put lead from pc in to router thats the problem cos my lead in pc is a usb lead and the fitting on router is not so the usb fitting will not fit so got no connection so wot do i need to do

For this, you'll need an ethernet port on your PC. Check the back, it'll probably have one.
You'll also need another ethernet cable. These can be gotten from computer stores or electrical shops like Radioshack or Maplins.
They're called RJ-45 cables, probably with CAT-5E or CAT-6 on them. Expect to pay �5 or so for a few metres.

It may have a little diagram above the socket like the one in the picture.
It is similar to the modem (phone) socket on the back of the PC so dont try to force the cable in if it wont go.
Here is a picture of the Ethernet cable. It should have the same plug on each end. Make sure you DONT buy a crossover cable as they can look the same.
