I recently installed uTorrent for the first time the other day and have now successfully downloaded several mp3 files. What do I do now? They are just sitting in the uTorrent display and I don't know how to process them to get them to the stage where I can import them into iTunes? Help gratefully received.

You don't even know what the files are, so don't come the high moral tone with me, Cakehole, you nonce.
what files do you have in the utorrent folder. when i d-load movies in avi format i can put them straight on a dvd. maybe the mp3s work similar.
Several mp3 files and you want to put them into iTunes?

Doesn't really take a genius to work out what they are does it?

I'd suggest that next time you try for a witty put down you at least make sure you're not going to make yourself look stupid.
Right click on the file in utorrent and choose open containing folder.
Then right click the file and see what options it gives you, I don`t have itunes, but it gives the option to send to media player.
Also, if I remember, you can click file (top left) in Itunes and it will open up all your music files, then you can import them that way.
