Slightly different issue now - I have junked the Netgear router in favour of a Belkin N1 (802.11n) as I now have a laptop with 802.11n. I had no problems locating and connecting the new laptop wirelessly to the router and I also have a nintendo DS and Wii with internet browser and they all happily connect wirelessly (using WEP encryption because the Nintendo devices do not support anything better). My HTC Touch on the otherhand shows the new router SSID but states that it is unavailable and refuses to connect - why on earth would this be, given the temperamental nature of the connection with the previous router I can only presume that as usual it is a microsoft issue - I am not too fussed about resolving now as I have a perfectly good network running with my other wireless devices, but it would be nice to get to the bottom of this problem.
