wireless broadband

Sorry I am new to this and probably being very stupid. But can anybody please tell me the how to find the cheapest monthly wireless broadband service. I am getting more confused. I dont need to download much its just for browsing the net. Also if I get my own 'hub' ? can i use that with any network

Any broadband service can be wireless.

If the service doesn't give you a wireless modem, you can buy your own router for around �30.

All you need to be aware of is there are basically two different sorts of router.

One is for any broadband that needs a BT line - bt, talktalk, bulldog, AOL etc

The other is for cable broadband - Virgin Media.

do you have any other service with anybody that provides a broadband service, such as sky tv, if you do then you can get offers that combine the two.

And as Ethel says if they don't provide a wireless router you can simply get your own.

Yes if you get a hub you can use it on any network, but I think you are getting your terminology mixed up, a hub is simply used to connect several computer together, I think you mean a router, but yes if you buy an ADSL router you can use it with any ADSL broadband supplier.
