Internet Explorer 7
Can anybody explain why, when I check my security cameras online using my laptop, the page does not update itself like it does on my desktop computer?
The site is:
http://sssssteve.no-ip.biz
Laptop has IE7
Desktop has BT Yahoo browser which updates every second or so. (IE6 on Desktop also fails to update)
Could it be a Java problem?

May not be an ideal solution to your problem, but if in IE7 you go to the tools menu and then manage add-ons and then select find add-ons then do a search for refresher there is an add-on that enables you to set IE to automatically refresh a web page at a desired interval.
the other thing you could try is in IE goto tools menu, select internet options and then select security on the tabs at the top. On this page if you click on trusted sites and then the sites button just below, add the above as a trusted site (you will have to take the tick out off requires server verification)
once you have done that click close and then click on the custom level button at the bottom and go down the list and enable everything. this will let IE run any thing from you camera site that the normal security levels my be blocking.
This will only effect the security level on your site, no others so should not cause any security issues elsewhere

Thanks Chuck, I tried both things. The refresher is ok at refreshing the page itself but the images do not update. The other stuff hasn't helped either.
I think the Yahoo browser has something that basic Internet Explorer doesn't. Just got to find out what.
And I've changed the hallway view now anyway, that was just to test the camera.
Thanks again for your help.
