re-setting password

Hi, wonder if anyone can help,my son has an iqon computer on vista home basic,he started up computer and instead of signing in decided to change his password so clicked on change password,he followed instructions then tried to sign in but nothing happened, now it is saying to reset password he has to insert some sort of disc?? he has tried using both passwords..old and new..does anyone know what this disc is or if there is anything he can do to get onto computer? sorry i sound vague but this is all i have to go on... and im baffled? thanks for any help ;0)

first try hitting the button leaving the password field blank.

second question ... is there more than one account on the machine.

In vista the first two accounts created are administrators ... and can reset passwords

I ever forgot my windows password and try to search for help on google. I've tried a couple of free password recovery utilities. The free software can help you, but you have to learn some computer skills and waste a lot time on learning.
