PS3 mic problem

Hey guys. Something rele annoying has recently happened with my mic on my ps3. I can hear through my headset but cannot talk to anyone. I went to bluetooth management and it says its connected but when i talk the bar doesnt indicate im talking. This also happens on COD. I CANNOT talk but CAN hear. I tried using another mic and the same thing happened. To eliminte the fact that the mic could be not compatable, the mic was originally working just fine. the problem came about just recently
