If you want to save a webpage as a screen shot, how is this achieved?

In XP

Press PrSc (top right keyboard)
Open your paint program

Ctrl V (or right click and paste)

Save as usual

Or use a free program - I like this one, which allows me to capture a part of the screen (or the whole screen) and edit very easily

Thanks Ethel, will try first one first. I did try it previously, but didn't open the paint bit, so nothing happened.

If you use Firefox as your browser, you can use an addon called Scrapbook

This saves your webpages and you can organise them into folders and so on, like a scrapbook

When you've got the hang of PrtSc, you can use Alt + PrtSc

This takes a screenshot of the active screen, rather than the whole screen

It is also useful if starting out, to printscreen then open word and paste / save
That way you have it in a format you will recognise and understand

Or you could instal a free progamme like Cute PDF and "print it" as a pdf
