limewire basic

lime wire basic has stopped working on my p.c. and despite downloading it again it still does not work. my system is windows xp. has anyone got an answer please

you will have five stepped panels on the bottom left do they go from red to green to signify an internet connection if not have you got a new firewall installed as this would probably cause it not to connect if its not configured correctly,otherwise i dont know why i should stop working
