thanks for your information I will try them, but I have connected my pc to tv using a vga cable, into the tv pc socket, Tv shows ( no signal )

I have not had chance to read any past suggestions to your problem. So sorry if I have repeated a solution.
Depending on the make of laptop. You may have to switch between displays. Usually it is the Fn (function key) and possibly F4 held down together. But if it is not F4 look for a button with two displays on it. Hold that one down instead of F4. I do know this button can vary from comp to comp.

After connecting Computer to TV. Right Click On Desktop. Properties. Settings Tab. Advanced Tab At Bottom. Displays Tab. Good Luck
