Inbox Outlook express problems pt2
Any extra help greatly appreciated with my earlier post on this pesky problem that i'm having.I still can't figure it out. I have managed to send an email, but I doubt whether I can receive any emails at all. Please, please help!! I keep getting error reports of all sorts, every time I try to fix it.The latest one I've got is......
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.talktalk.net', Server: 'mail.talktalk.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
I cannot even remember my previous password now. Would it be better to delete my whole account, and create a brand new one.Problem with this option, is all the hassle that comes with it. My previous posting on AB on this thread is....

Fair play to Buenchico,he gave me some great advice in trying to rectify the problem. But,unfortunately his advice didn't quite work.I even removed the account which might have made matters worse.I really don't know! I got password problems now.Aaaarggh!!
Many thanks for any helpful advice.

Thanks for your help VHG.
But I did try and phone Talktalk about 15 minutes ago.
It looks as they are having problems too.The recorded ladies voice at the other end said that there is a 20 minute delay in each call that is made to them.
Apparently the voice also said that they are having a lot of calls recently, and that there is a problem with (I'm not sure whether I got this bit right) something to do with 'ivgr' issues.
The recorded gentlemans voice in the beginning said that technicians will try and fix the problem in the next 4 hours.
So I will have a look at my Outbox problem AGAIN tomorrow.
Actually it's not really urgent,I'm not really bothered if Outlook works or not.
If something goes up the creek, I sometimes get a bit fed up trying to fix it and then I just ignore it.Perhaps it will fix itself!!
Some hope!
