BT internet dowload limits.
4 Answers
I've just had an email from BT telling me that from 1st April I will be charged a pound for every 1Gb that I use above my monthly limit of 10Gb, up from 86p. (I'm on BT internet option 1). That's all very well, but how do I find out how much I've downloaded in the current month? BT's site doesn't tell you and they seem to keep their phone number secret! Apparently they will email me if I reach 80% of my monthly limit, but I'd really like to know how much I'm downloading so I can rearrange my usage accordingly.
Thanks in anticipation

i would also suggest that if you have found a cheaper deal elsewhere that is similar or better then go for it. if BT say you are in a contract then you can tell them they have changed it and you do not agree to the changes, this way you shouldnt be held to any charges.
there are some very good ISP's out there, one of the best places to start looking is www.samknows.com/broadband/
