I want to email a file from my PC

I want to email a file from my PC - trouble is win xp uses the utterley ***** Outlook Express- is there a way that i can send a file on pc using gmail?

sure - after you type your email look for the "attach a file" link (should have a little paper clip next to it). Easy as pie.

If you are trying to send .exe file format file, G-mail is not allowed to send it for security reason. Other file you can sent easily.

If you can't work out how to do something as basic as attaching a file on G-mail perhaps the problem when using Outlook Express is more to do with general user ineptitude than weaknesses with the program itself?

Duh!!!!Sorry - dunno what i was thinking off with pointless question - as i have attached email file before -it's just sometimes a PC can make you go round the bend!
