how to get the webcam working on a hp laptop

how you use the webcam on a new hp laptop , i have tryed searching for webcam or quickplay on the computer but can not get it working

The webcam must be powered up & connected before switching on pc.

On my HP it's listed as Cyberlink youcam in all programs .Click where it collapses . Can't remember if I did anything else tho . You can try the website
