Spoofed MAC address
Our ISP told us that the PCs MAC address had been spoofed, or a duplicate had been issued. This meant a new Network Driver install, [cost �40+] . How do I prevent this happening again? Thanks

your mac address is your "machine's telephone number" - it's how traffic finds your machine.
theoretically each one is unique - but that depends on the integrity of the manufacturer - knock offs use what they want
it's possible that someone is spoofing you - either way - not much you can do - no mac ... no internet
