Computer query
2 Answers
I used to be able to delete Google queries by deleting in the box, then typing in the first letter, highlighting the appropriate query and deleting. Now,every time, I am already at the beginning of the query when I return to it and can only delete it out of the box. When I type in the letter and highlight the query, it is not deleted but goes back into the box again. Even stranger, i seem to have all the queries to Google made by other people that day in the LONG lists that come up. Help please!! Thank you.

If so, I think you may be trying to delete google suggestions, which automatically suggest common search terms which match the letters you are typing in, as you are typing them. I just tested it and they don't get deleted when you delete them individually, as other autocomplete entries do, they seem to be persistent.
If you don't want the suggestions at all, just right click anywhere on the search box and untick 'Show Suggestions' - if you are using a different browser or are talking about a different problem, please explain further.
