Why does Big Brother keep coming back?

I am bitterly disappointed that Big Brother has returned. Surely it is such a dreadful spectacle full of the worst unsophisticates on TV that it should have dwindled into obscurity. Probably because the viewers are so shallow and unsophistocated, why else would the TV companies consider it worth the bother, the Big Bother.

I honestly wouldn't give a moneys behind if it was just a show on channel 4. I don't even own a telly so missing the show is just not ever going to be a problem for me.

What I really resent is the ludicrous amount of time given over to this tedious show in newspapers, magazines and indeed the news. Not only to I have to avoid the telly for the next few months, I also have to avoide the news and the papers in order to avoid this pile of kak. (I personally think it's lazy journalism and pandering to the lowest common denominator).

there must be alot of shallow and unsophistocated people out there hey seen as its still on. What I dont understand is people that moan when its on tv, hey I dont always like footie but guess what I just turn it over. I love Big Brother woop woop :-) And square that is a bit harsh, each to their own. You could say people with soaps have no life either. everyone likes different things which is why years ago I asked the ED to put a section in for reality TV which the ED did and so most questions will go on there. :-) Many psychology students study big brother and it helps to watch how people behave, if you look into a bit more its very interesting to understand humans and their behaviour pattern when placed in certain situations.

BB is on because people watch it, same as soaps, football, the news, cookery shows, BGT, jeremy Kyle etc etc etc. Its brings revenue for the TV stations and all involved in the production.

Crikey, its escapism, light entertainment for a few weeks of the year, why do people feel the need to insult others on their choice of TV?
