I am in H/K for 2 months and when I try, it says I cant receive it because of licence bla bla bla, but I pay for my TV licence at home in the UK.

Is there any other way?

Probably not,

You could try using a UK based proxy server, but most of them are nowhere near fast enough to cope with streaming video
Havent heard of anyway to do it.Even to download and watch later .Something to do with the proxys being known to bbc

its the same for watching american programmes from fox tv.if not in usa it wont work.
If you know someone with a computer connected to the internet in the UK all the time, then you could connect through that.

Thanks, fo3nix,

Thats no problem I do, but how do you set it up or do it?

Thanks for the other answers.
Using the remote acces to your home pc you could do it.
Well it can be done in a ton of ways.

I'd personally use Linux with X11 forwarding over SSH.

If you use Windows, look into remote desktop sharing.

You need to be able to access that machine in the UK from somewhere else. Once you can do this, all you need to ensure is that the UK machine is connected to the internet.

The machine acts as a proxy server, as Chuck suggests.

But a better idea is to just use a BitTorrent search site to find the programme you want, and download from there. But this usually requires the programme to be fairly popular.
slingbox
