I run a family tree software and I imorted the info from Genes Re united using a gedcom file. I have now purchased another family tree software that I want to run alongside the other one to print off different reports. If I use the gedcom file will it delete it from the software that I am already using ?

If both your software programmes say they support GEDCOM then i can't see why it would automatically delete it from the first software. You could always export the GEDCOM files onto a CD just incase, but I know I have two versions of Family Free maker on my laptop and they both have the same info in them that was imported from a GEDCOM zip file sent to me on a CD
