"how do I become an anorexic" is not going to get you a lot of nice responses. If you are a serious poster looking for advice then I suggest you restructure your questions a bit first. A sensible approach will glean a better quality answer

think of it as a life lesson - whether you intended it or not - you started on a bad note ... you ignored all of the screaming hints that no-one either took you seriously ... or liked what and how you were asking. (I suppose like most teens)

now - frankly I think for many you've burned your boats ...

take take take isn't how it's done ... even an immature teen should realise that ...

I lurk the techie, how it works ... and perhaps a little out of character - the health sections

I sort of get away with a few smart mouth comments here in techie land - because I also try to give fair accurate info - I'm not always right ... but I'm never inaccurate on purpose ...

in the health forum - I'm just another punter ... and not being female I get put in my place.

you have no history here ... anywhere ... you need to learn what that means

you'll never turn people's opinions like this - ask decent questions, give decent answers - do it for a few weeks, months, years ... and people will start to change their opinion of you ... and the moment - I think of you either as a purveyor of the brown smelly - or just a silly little girl who has no idea what to do until the schools go back

... or just forget it and find a site suited to adolescents

When I first posted on here I was accused of being all sorts of things, an impostor, troll, etc (in fact if I recall rightly AC's first comment to me was something about stupid users like me coming back and making up stupid names to spoil the site..)

I ignored all the comments from everyone and just got on with quietly answering questions that I could and after a couple of months people started to realise that I wasn't a troll and was a genuine user.

As AC said, you have no history here, if you want people to respect you then you have to stick about, put up with a few comments and work at it until people accept you (or the school holidays are over and you're not bored anymore, whatever comes sooner)

Instead of just asking (often daft) questions all the time why not try and put some useful input back into the site and give a few answers too, regardless of your age there must be some topics that you can make a useful input to.
