I'm using Thunderbird and canaccess the sent folder ok.

When you say that you can't access it, what is happening - brings up an error message, just doesnt open or what?

SorruyJumbuck. I didn't express myself properly. I cannot find a sent folder at all. I don't now what I have actually sent although I have done some inconclusive checks. However I would prefer a 'sent' folder as there is in Ourlook Express; so I am using that at the moment. I assume that I am doing something wrong but I don't knoy what. I have checked all the settings I can find and the 'help' doesn't.

Hello again Jumbuck. I'm sorry about my bad typing; I had a damaged hand and should have waited until now to reply. I don't have a sent folder and whatever I do I can'f find it. Mail seems to be sent properly but I don't have a record. However I now have a further problem which is difficult to explain at the moment so I'm back to Outlook Express for the time being. Thanks and regards

Hello. After a long time I eventually got a reply from the Thundebird forum. Going into detail of the problem on Answerbank would have been very long winded but if anyone is interested I will explain. All is now well
