Wii fit board problem

Has anyone got any idea what is causing this. Board keeps saying "you have lost connection with the Wii fit board" only does it on cycling and running games. New batteries changed many times so not batteries and it does it when feet are still connecting to board. It is used every night for over an hour and is two years old. Could it be worn out alredy? Or something else, any ideas. Mr ES has even recalibrated it. thanks ES
