Put it in a Zip folder then use Zip's password function.
What version of Microsoft office are you using?

Microsoft Word 2007:

File (the top left office logo) > Save As > Tools (bottom left corner of the 'Save As' window) > General Options.

From there it's self explanatory.

Try and remember it. Unless you get a 3rd party tool, you cannot recover lost password!
