In startup I have: Jusched Atiptaxx kbd realsched isburnwatcher remind-xp and msmsgs... Any idea what they are and if they are necessary ? I'm off firefox and back on IE... Oh yes, on Norton insight network I apparantly have about 68 million good files and 13 million "known bad files" Can one get rid of the bad ones somehow (to help speed up the computer)... Thanks John

Jusched : Java update checker, not 100% needed, but unless you want to manually check for java updates once a month leave it.

Atiptaxx : the ATI graphics card control panel, assuming you have an ATI graphics card it's required

kbd : enables special features on your keyboard (volume buttons, play, pause etc) if you have no special buttons on the keyboard can be removed.

realsched : realplayer update scheduler, same as the java updater.

isburnwatcher : HP's own system updater, not required, windows updates will cover it.

remind-xp : it's a reminder to register SoftThinks CD Creator and is not required.

msmsgs.: msn messenger. not required unless you want messenger loading when you start the computer.
