Tesco Internet phone

I have been using Tesco's internet phone service for a couple of years and it has been good value - £3 a month for all UK landline calls: plus mobile and International calls also very cheap. That is probably why I just got an email saying the service is finishing next month. Is there a comparable service at a reasonable price? Is Skype the sme sort of thing?
