If I wanted to take part in CB for instance, can I listen to say, Radio 2 at the same time?

Try Spotify, it is the dog's knees and totally legal. You can listen to whatever you want, when you want. Yes, there are a few ads, but they are less intrusive than commercial radio stations.

hc4361, joining Spotify used to be by invitation only, has that been discontinued ?
I looked at Spotify earlier today... still invite only unless you want to pay...
Oh, I didn't realise. I've had Spotify since it first came out, no invitation needed then.
And the good thing about Spotify is that you can set your sound device to record from speakers and grab as many free tracks as you like!
