Pictures don't show up when I forward emails

I often get emails which are a series of pictures. They aren't sent as an attachment - you just scroll down through the email to see them. However when I forward them to people all they get are a series of empty boxes and they can't see the pictures.

Why is this and what can I do to change it?

I find this sometimes, but if the recipient right-clicks on the space where the picture should be, a menu pops up and you click on Show Picture.

it's not your end, it's theirs, they either have to change the settings one their email client to always show pictures, or as boxy said they can possibly right click on the mail and select show pictures (or download pictures)

Thanks boxtops. However some people have got back to me and said that that doesn't work for them.

They have sent the email back to me and I have tried right-clicking but find that it doesn't work.

I am still a bit confused though (easily done mind you!) because I had a look in my 'sent' file and when I opened the email, I was not able to see the pictures either - even though I could see them when I initially received the email.
So I tried forwarding the email to myself but I wasn't able to see the pictures and I couldn't open them by right-clicking.
Does that not mean that it is something to do with me sending the email?

You may be sending yout emails as text only so the pictures wouldn't show up (they should still be there as an attachment though)

You've not said what you are using to send mail though so it's not possible to say how to check for this.
