1. Take picture and make grayscale.
2. Up the contrast to make silluoette and erase unwanted background.
3. Convert back to RGB or CMYK
4. Create a new layer. Sample the ipod background colour you want, and fill the new layer
5. Make another layer. On your original photo layer copy your figure (The best way is to use the magic wand on the white background, then inverse it, and that should capture just your figure. Copy that to the new layer
6. Delete the background layer.
7.When the layer looks right, flatten image before saving.
I'm sure other people will have different ways of doing it, but the above method is how I created the sample below.
